*Special* Christmas Caramelized Red Onion Chutney

There are many red onion chutney recipes out there on the internet, for example this, however there is much more you can do to it to make it different from the rest. In this recipe we add fruit, a variety of onions (easy to buy from any supermarket), aubergine and red wine to really add a twist to this tasty condiment. Goes perfectly with homemade Burgers and Thick Cut Chips or a DIY Sub Sandwich.

If you don't want to eat it all by yourselves, you can put them into sterilized jars and give them as gifts to friends and family.

This Sunday Roast recipe is surprisingly easy, does not take many ingredients and could only be cheaper if you got it served by your Mum :)

The marinade is spicy/sweet depending on your taste and can be used on a variety of other meats - works best with red meat, to marinade spare ribs or BBQ steaks! Check it out!

Couscous salad: Morocco meets Mexico

BBQ season is upon us and what do we like more with a juicy steak or grilled vegetables? Salad...that is savoury and filling.

I am a massive fan of couscous and eat it as the carby basis for a saucy dish,
as an accompaniment for a rich casserole or tagine, or of course cold for lunch or in salad.
With some lovely spices and fresh vegetables, this turns into a salad that will impress even the most reluctant lettuce eaters and their loathing into love.

Serves 2-4; ready in 15min
